The Blackpool Gazette reporting that despite Middlesbrough’s best efforts, Charlie Adam remains a Blackpool player.

Gordon Strachan’s side made late efforts to snatch the player today, but Adam now looks set to remain at Bloomfield Road until the end of the season.

Whether the Boro failed to meet ‘Pool’s demanded fee or whether Adam has in fact rejected the move is as yet unclear, but we will bring you the full story as soon as we have it.
