On the pitch:
Four points from two tough home games was an excellent return for the Seasiders.
Pool beat their Tuesday night jinx with a thrilling 3-2 win over Derby County. Alan Gow, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Ben Burgess were on target for the Tangerines in what was probably Pool’s best home performance of the season.

Yesterday Blackpool battled hard in the atrocious conditions to twice come from behind to earn a point against Palace. Burgess took his season’s goal tally to five with a stunning volley and Ian Evatt scored for the first time since January 2007 to leave Pool well placed in 11th in the Championship.

Off the pitch:
We could finally be getting some signage on Bloomfield Road to let everyone know just who plays there! But you’ll all have to dig deep to help raise the cash to pay for them.

Best thread on the forum:
‘Signage for the ground – He’s having a laugh’. Clearly the above topic has caused some debate among the Pool faithful. Some are willing to do their bit and others (mainly the anti-Oystons) aren’t.

Whatever is happening off the pitch good things are definitely happening on it. Just three defeats in the league so far and a top half place. Two tough away trips coming up this week at Cardiff and Watford. We did the business at Birmingham, Southampton and QPR, so same again please boys!
