Blackpool Have Philliskirk Bid Rejected

The Blackpool Gazette have revealed that Blackpool have had a bid of £75k rejected for Oldham striker Danny Philliskirk.

The striker has scored seven goals this season for struggling Oldham which has caught the attention of Neil McDonald.

However, the bid is believed to be far short of Oldham’s valuation and the bid was rejected due to Pool’s request to pay it in installments.

A second bid for the 24 year old is likely and there could be more news to come within the next week or two.

McDonald is set to see his squad lessen in numbers soon, with several loan players set to return to their parent clubs but McDonald insists he is working hard to add new faces and keep the ones he has.
