Phil Crossley has been named as the referee for Saturday’s game away at Ipswich Town.

The 47-year-old hasn’t taken charge of a ‘Pool game since 2004 – a win on the south coast at Bournemouth.

The Kent-based official officiates largely in League One, but has over seen a number of Championship fixtures this campaign – including Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Birmingham last week, live on Sky.

Crossley was fourth official for the 2005 Carling Cup final, and has refereed 24 games so far this term – dishing out 61 yellows and 4 reds in that time.
