Danny Wilson has joined Blackpool on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.
The move, rumoured to have been signed all morning, has been confirmed by the Reds on their website.
The Scotland international has been a long time target of Ian Holloway and it marks the manager’s first foray into the transfer market. The Seasiders attempted to sign him in the summer as part of the Charlie Adam deal.
Wilson, who can play centre half or left back, isn’t available for today’s game at Birmingham City but will go straight into the squad to face Middlesbrough on January 2.
