Noises coming out of Nottingham Forest today are rumouring striker Grant Holt with a move to Bloomfield Road on loan.
The big striker notched 17 goals for Forest last season, but this season has only found the net three times as he’s struggled for form and a starting place.
However, Holt does have pedigree and – despite being linked to other clubs seemingly all the time – wins plaudits every season for his performances from varying media sources.
The deal is said to be dependant on the League One club signing a striker today, and is just rumour.

Not sure about him being able to step up to be honest, not sure he’s really stepped up to League One, as his lack of consistency shows. Maybe short-term you can get the best from him.
Signed as a squad player and to put some pressure on our current strikers.
Not one I want to see as a regular.
He’s signed – loan deal until the end of the season.
Gary Johnson at Bristol City agreed a fee with Forest for the lad last season. So both Johnson and Grayson rate him!
