A Blackpool XI will take on Lancaster City in a pre-season friendly on Monday 1st August at The Giant Axe, kick off 7.45pm.
The ‘Pool team is largely expected to be made up of youngsters.
Bizarrely, Ian Holloway’s side still haven’t formally announced their full pre-season itinerary, with games seemingly arranged on an ad-hoc basis – perhaps a pre-cursor to how ‘reserve team’ games will be organised in the future?
‘Pool’s first team, meanwhile, will take on Hibernian at Bloomfield Road tomorrow night.
