Sky Sports have broken two transfer stories concerning the Seasiders in the last few minutes.

The first story regards Uruguayan centre half Mauricio Victorino.

The 28 year old currently plays for Chilean side Universidad but has attracted interest from Europe following a good World Cup.

Blackburn and Newcastle were believed to be tracking the player, but Sky Sports now state that Blackpool are the first team to make a concrete offer for him.

In addition to Sky’s report, foreign news sources claim that ‘Pool’s offer is to take the player on loan until the end of the season, for a fee reported to be around the £400,000 mark.

Meanwhile, Sky are also reporting that Liverpool are ready to enter the face to sign ‘Pool captain Charlie Adam.

According to them, Kenny Dalglish is a big fan of the Scot and wants to add more creativity to his side this month.

Dalglish will of course see Adam in close quarters tonight when Blackpool play Liverpool at Bloomfield Road.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Aston Villa’s improved offer of £3.5 million for Charlie has also been rejected by the Seasiders.
