Danny Coid could be on his way out of Bloomfield Road, SkySports reports, with numerous clubs interested in him as his contract runs out.

The 27-year-old is a one club man, spending his entire career at Blackpool after signing as a trainee back in 1998.

Coid has had a horrific time with injuries for most of his time at the ‘Pool, but when called upon and fit, has always been a stable performer.

And despite being plauged by injury this campaign specifically, he has still managed to notch 18 games – his last coming in the 1-0 away win at Barnsley.

Remarkably, he has played in over 300 fixtures for Blackpool in his time here.

But it is now thought that Coid is being targeted by a host of clubs as speculation lingers as to whether or not The Seasiders will renew his contract.

Championship clubs Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth Argyle are keen on the scouser, whilst Leicester City – already promoted from League One – are also thought to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Whatever happens in the summer, Danny has been up to this point a terrific servant to the football club, and now in his testimonial year, holds BFC close to his heart.
