Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said this week that his team won’t be playing attacking football on Saturday.

The Sky Blues were beaten handsomly 3-0 at Bloomfield Road back in August after they went and expressed themselves.

But the former Fulham gaffer is wary of the threat Ian Holloway’s Blackpool bring.

‘If we go into Saturday’s game thinking we can go out to attack and play nice and open we will lose, so we are not going to do that, I promise you that now,” he remarked.

‘We will be going into it with the same mind-set (as Tuesday night away at Swansea) and if we need to score from a set play I don’t care because three points on Saturday will see us sitting nice and pretty.

‘We will be on 35 points with still plenty of games left and it will be a good scalp for us to beat Blackpool because we went up there earlier in the season and played open and lost 3-0, so we have got one or two points to prove on Saturday.’
