The Blackpool Gazette are reporting that Liverpool’s Gerardo Bruna is close to signing for the Seasiders.
Gerardo Bruna is ‘on the verge’ of signing for Blackpool, the Gazette report.
The Liverpool midfielder, 20, is set to sign on a permanent deal, if the paper is to be believed.
There have been growing rumours over the past four to five days that Bruna would be definitely joining the club, and chairman Karl Oyston said yesterday that he’s ‘waiting for a call’ to finalise a deal.
The Argentine has been a stand-out performer for the Reds’ reserve team for the past two seasons.
That included a brilliant performance against the Seasiders’ second string last term, where his dazzling footwork had the likes of Chris Basham and Sala Sbai drooling.
It’s said that the capture of Paul Ince’s son, Tom, is a bit further away.
