News from Huddersfield Town on loanees Chris Brandon and Paul Rachubka.

After a recent poll on the Huddersfield Town Vital website, it is apparent that Terriers fans want their two men back – as soon as possible.

To read the article, click here. The two players won over 50% of the vote, and the fans see bringing them back as top priority.

Rachubka – who made the League One team of the week for his role in the 2-1 at home to Crewe on Saturday – has made eight starts for The Seasiders so far, and has already won over the Blackpool faithful with a string of confident performances, including several clean sheets.

Chris Brandon, who has only played one game for ‘Pool made a superb start to his seaside career over the weekend as he filled the problem right hand side position. His calmness and logical thinking had fans pleased throughout.

Originally suffering from tonsillitis when first signed, Brandon had to sit out a few games but is now fully fit and raring to fire ‘Pool up to The Championship.

The poll results on www.huddersfield.vitalfootball.co.uk are a complete U-turn on what Terriers fan were spouting when we first signed the players.

Rachubka was said to be ‘erratic‘ and ‘inconsistent‘ whereas Brandon was quite simply ‘awful‘. Well, we’ll have a few more of these outcasts please!

No way we can let Rabs go back, i would like to see him signed for longer as soon as possible. As for Brandon it’s clear he is a good addition to the squad and we should look at keeping him as well.
These are the sort of players we will need next season whatever division we are in (Hopefully not this one).

I wonder if they have any more erratic, onconsistent awful players that we can have? And yes fully agreed we need to try and keep Rachubka and possibly Brandon permanently.

  • Blackford says:

Can Huddersfield recall the players back at all or are they tied to the pool till end of season????????

  • Jerry says:

There is no recall clause in either’s contract – luckily for us.

  • Blackford says:

Thank God for that. Cheers Jerry
