Trialist Phil Marsh has today sealed a move to Bloomfield Road permanently. After being released by Manchester United in June, Marsh has trialled with Inverness in Scotland but failed to secure a move.

After a six week period at Blackpool, coupled with the fact Grayson is finding it increasingly difficult to sign players, The Seasiders swooped to sign the midfielder cum striker.

He only managed one senior appearance for United – away at Crewe in the Carling Cup when his striker partner was Alan Smith. Marsh was substituted at half time.

The club have yet to release how long Phil will be staying at the seaside.

Marsh is another Man United graduate to sign for ‘Pool, following first teamer David Fox’s (pictured above) switch a year and a half ago.
