After a run of seven games without a win at Bloomfield Road, many Blackpool fans will be hoping that it is time that fortunes are turned around at home.

Blackpool’s last home league win came back in October where Curtis Tilts 73rd minute header gave Blackpool a 2-1 victory against Bury.

Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer also feels the same, speaking to Blackpool Gazette today, Bowyer stated that tomorrow’s clash against Bristol Rovers provides the perfect opportunity to turn around their poor home form.

At the start of the season Blackpool’s brilliant home form was the key to their great and impressive start of the season. However after a six game unbeaten run, Blackpool have now lost four of their last six games at Bloomfield Road.

“It`s another home game and we know we have to change that record, I would argue our performances and form have actually been very impressive, it`s just the results that have not gone our way.

“But we know we have to do everything in our power to change it around.

“Our performance at Oxford was very good last weekend but we can`t just keep saying it, we`ve got to deliver.

However, this will prove to be a tough game for Blackpool, as their opponents Bristol Rovers who currently sit just one league place below Blackpool in the table are well rested having not played since New Years Day, Blackpool however, have played two games in that period, the latter being just 2 days ago, when Blackpool were knocked out of the Checkatrade Trophy after a penalty shoot out defeat to Shrewsbury Town.

Can Blackpool start to turn their fortunes around at Bloomfield Road this weekend? The game kicks off at Bloomfield Road at 3pm Saturday 13th January.
