With the Kaspars Gorkss transfer saga continuing to drag on, Sky Sports has announced that one of the players who was expected to be involved in a player-exchange deal, Daniel Nardiello, is about to sign a two year deal with the Seasiders.
Nardiello currently out of favour at QPR appears to have agreed personal terms and should sign a deal very soon, with Blackpool paying an undisclosed fee for the Welsh international forward.
Manager Simon Grayson has gone on record as saying that he is hoping to bring half a dozen new players into the club before the start of the season. Is Nardiello likely to be the first of this major influx? And if so who is likely to follow him to Bloomfield Road? John Halls, Martin Devaney and David Vaughan to name but three?
