‘Pool Only Slip One Place

After the weather prevented the Seasiders playing West Brom yesterday at Bloomfield Road, it looked as if they could slip a few places in the table.

Thankfully that didn’t happen.

Most of the teams close to Ian Holloway’s side failed to pick up three points, with Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and QPR all drawing.

Watford were beaten 2-1 away at strugglers Peterborough United.

Unfortunately Swansea won at Sheffield Wednesday which stretches them four points ahead of ‘Pool.

One team who are creeping up towards the playoffs is Doncaster Rovers, who won their fourth straight game away at Derby County.

One team going in the opposite direction is Preston, who now languish in 15th after a humiliating 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest live on the tv.

For now we only dropped one place to 8th, which is three points off the top six and there appears to be a gap opening up.
