The squad for the match originally was due to include first team hopefuls Pogliacomi, Warrender, Butler, Donnelly, Wood and Blinkhorn but with two games in as many days at the weekend a young side will be named instead.
Linford who was released from League Two Bury will be given another chance to impress boss Simon Grayson after he appeared in the reserves defeat to Wrexham last week.
Craig Cushion is another defender, from non-league Burscough, he’ll be given his chance to impress too in the match which kicks off at 7pm.
