Gillett, 20, is a midfielder and has only ever made one appearance in a Saints shirt as a substitute in a F.A. cup tie.
He made two starts for Walsall last season in a short loan spell against Port Vale and MK Dons

Well I thought he did ok on his debut in a very poor team display. At least when he lost the ball he worked hard to win it back. Just his size will work against him and that corner kick in the first half was terrible!
