Blackpool’s formation on the pitch has been the subject of much debate this season.
Indeed this has been the topic of our poll this week.
It seems using the 4-4-2 system is most popular with 56% of votes.
And lots of you simply don’t mind which formation Larry sends the boys out in so long as they pick up the three points.
The formation has chopped and changed in the early part of the season mainly because of the lack of personnel.
Simon Grayon’s hand was forced into playing a 4-5-1 system in the games against Bristol City and Norwich because Ben Burgess was his only fit striker.
This also happened last season when injuries forced Larry into adopting a 4-5-1 at Watford with Andy Morrell leading the line.
But with Steve Kabba fit and firing along with Burgess a 4-4-2 will surely be Larry’s preferred choice of system over the coming months.
And with Danny Nardiello returning to action Simon Grayson suddenly has an embarrassment of riches pretty much all over the pitch.
So it will be the tried and trusted 4-4-2 for now, I think…
