Have you seen the Championship table recently? If you haven’t, go and have a look. Go on, don’t mind me, I can finish typing when you get back…

… I know, 7th is good isn’t it? I know, only two points off 5th, the playoffs, and (potentially) the Premiership… exciting times eh? Even Scunthorpe’s manager Nigel Adkins is getting excited for us!

We’re playing at home tomorrow you know. Oh yes. Against Doncaster. And if we beat them, not only would it end their playoff hopes, but we could also go 5th. Sounds good eh?

You’d think it’d be a sell out wouldn’t you? The Seasiders in their highest position for years, backed by a vocal and fully sold out home crowd. But it isn’t. No really, I’m not joking.

Despite the fact that we’re on the verge of something special, people would rather sit in their armchairs and watch Manchester United v Chelsea… or indeed, because tomorrow’s game falls on Easter Monday, watch Columbo re-runs.

Yes I know Columbo’s good, but I bet even he would rather be at Bloomfield Road tomorrow than solving crimes.

If you’re any kind of Blackpool fan, you’ll be there tomorrow. There’s plenty of tickets still on sale and the club ticket office opens bright and early (9am to be precise).

Get your facepaint on, wear your scarfs, bring your throat seats… we need to be the 12th man (or woman) in each and every game for the rest of the season, especially now our bloody chairman has only gone and given away fans proper 21st century facilities to use, meaning that it’ll be easier for them to generate noise… what a noggin.

We need Bloomfield Road to be a couldron of tangerine, both in terms of sight and sound. Bring your nan, bring your dad, bring your dog. I don’t care who you bring, but let’s get the place sold out and rocking.

We don’t know when we’ll next be in this position again after all.

The ticket office is located behind the North Stand, or you can call for your tickets on 0871 622 1953 and choose option one.

Columbo can wait.
