The League 2 season continued with the latest round of play-off games.

Blackpool-Luton and Carlisle-Exeter produced 11 goals in the play-off semi final first legs – Pools hold a 3-2 advantage over the Hatters whereas the Grecians and Cumbrian played out a 3-3 draw.

It’s all to play for in both semi-final ties when it comes to Thursday’s second legs.

Here’s a round-up of the action.

Sunday 14th May 2017 – LEAGUE TWO
Blackpool 3-2 Luton Town 18:30
Carlisle United 3-3 Exeter City 18:30

Blackpool and Luton played out a five goal thriller at Bloomfield Road on Sunday evening, Pools edging a one goal advantage as they take a 3-2 lead into Thursday’s second leg at Kenilworth Road.

The home side had been ahead before Luton hit back to lead at the interval – but Mark Cullen’s second half brace completed his hat trick, giving Blackpool this narrow advantage to protect.

The goals continued to flow in games involving Carlisle and Exeter – Sunday’s 3-3 draw at Brunton Park made it 16 in three meetings between the sides this season.

The Grecians had come from behind to lead three one before two goals in as many minutes late in the second half meant the Cumbrians will head to St James’ Park on level terms.
