The League One season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Shrewsbury extended their lead at the top of the table, a win at Rotherham coupled with Wigan’s defeat against third placed Bradford – who closed to within three points of the Latics – means the Shrews are now four points clear.

At the other end defeats for Bury, Plymouth and Rochdale, against promotion chasing Blackburn, fellow play-off chasing Oxford and Oldham, respectively, means they remain in the bottom three.

Northampton’s loss against Scunthorpe saw the Cobblers back into the relegation places too after Gillingham won at Walsall.
