On the pitch:
The Seasiders` couldn`t quite hit the heights of Birmingham seven days ago as they were held 1-1 by Coventry at Bloomfield Road. Ben Burgess` expertly taken strike put Pool ahead in the second half only for Blackpool nemesis Freddy Eastwood to equalise for the dangerous looking visitors with 20 minutes left.

Reserves on a roll
Blackpool Reserves won away for the first time this season beating Morecambe 3-1 at Christie Park. Youngster Jake Hobbs was the hero with a brace for the away side.

Off the pitch:
A blow on the injury front for Blackpool with Jermaine Wright being ruled out until the New Year after going under the knife on Thursday to clear up an Achilles injury.

Best thread on forum:
‘Should he stay or should he go` An intriguing debate started by reedo90 talking about Claus Jorgensen`s value to the Blackpool squad. For me Claus has been top notch ever since he arrived at the club and his consistency of performance has been fantastic. There are some who agree with that view and others who would rather have Vaughan and Southern in the centre. The competition for places in the engine room will certainly give Larry a headache with the games coming thick and fast.

A big week ahead for Blackpool with a trip to money-bags QPR on Tuesday and a reunion with Kaspars Gorkss followed by next Saturday`s 12.30pm showdown with Cardiff at Bloomfield Road. Let`s get right behind the lads and push on back into the top half of the table for this time next week!
