Simon Grayson has swooped on deadline day to capture a Goalkeeper; Scott Flinders has signed until the end of the season from Saturday’s opponents Crystal Palace.
The 21 year old is to provide competition for Blackpool stopper Paul Rachubka in the remaining handful of Championship games after finding it difficult to dislodge Speroni from the Eagles’ goal.
Gillingham, Brighton and Yeovil have all had Flinders on loan since his move to Selhurst Park in 2006 from Barnsley, and the ‘Pool seem to have secured his services because of an injury to Paul Gerrard.
Flinders will be unable to make his debut for The Seasiders until after the fixture on Saturday due to an agreement between Neil Warnock and Blackpool.

Good signing, surprising how much it improves someone if their place in the team is underthreat.
What do you know about him StevieG?
I agree pressure for places brings out the best in players.
Be interesting to see if we can get him permantly; he’s better than Rabs.
Rabs never really stood out as a good keeper at Huddersifled. He didnt have any pressure on him after Ian Gray was forced to retire but soon he lost his place to young Phil Senior.
