‘Pool manager Ian Holloway has shocked everyone by making seven changes to his side for tonight’s visit of Sheffield United.
The most surprising change of all is the return of Gary Taylor-Fletcher, who was widely expected still to be out for several weeks.
Matt Gilks remains in goal, but Neal Eardley comes back in at right back with Alex Baptiste shifting to centre half for Ian Evatt who drops to the bench. Marcel Seip and Stephen Crainey remain in the team from Saturday’s win over Plymouth.
It’s all change in midfield, with Al Bangura, Jason Euell, Ishmel, Emmanuel-Thomas and Ormerod coming in for Southern, Adam, Vaughan, Clarke and Bouazza, all of whom are on the bench.
Taylor-Fletcher starts up top in place of Ben Burgess who misses out completely.
Starting XI: Gilks, Crainey, Seip, Baptiste, Eardley, Bangura, Ishmel, Euell, Emmanuel-Thomas, Ormerod, Taylor-Fletcher
Subs: Rachubka, Evatt, Southern, Adam, Vaughan, Bouazza, Clarke
Sheffield United’s injury problems are well documented, and Kevin Blackwell makes four changes to his side.
Starting XI: Bunn, Taylor, Morgan, Kilgallon, Walker, Cotterill, Quinn, Harper, France, Henderson, Cresswell
Subs: Bennett, Evans, Williamson, Stewart, Little, Treacy, Fortune
