FK Jurmala currently occupy 7th place in the Latvian Championship. They have 14 points from 14 games. Jurmala are 12 points behind Pool’s opponents tomorrow, Skonto.
Jurmala lost their last game 1-0 to league leaders Ventspils, Kaspars Gorkss’ former club. Ventspils lead second placed Skonto by 11 points. Jurmala play in blue and they may well field a team of fringe and reserve players because of their league season continuing.
Pool could hand a debut to new loan signing Steve Kabba. Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Danny Coid, Stephen Crainey and Joe Martin all have injuries and so Simon Grayson’s options will be limited, particularly with another game tomorrow.
