Alan Gow has moved on loan to Championship strugglers Norwich City on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Scot, who was poised to join Wolves earlier in the month but failed a medical, played 17 times for Blackpool in his loan spell at the beginning of the season, scoring five goals – his last coming on Boxing Day against Sheffield Wednesday.

And The Seasiders had made no secret of the fact they wanted Gow to sign permanently, but had trouble with personal terms, and a move never really looked on the cards – especially when manager Simon Grayson left for Leeds United just before Christmas.

Gow’s move to Norwich will raise a few eyebrows amongst ‘Pool supporters, not least because this means both he and Wes Hoolahan could play in the same team, which looks a risky game plan. The Rangers’ man had also turned down a move to The Canaries in the summer.
