Simon Grayson has in the last half an hour been announced as the new manager of Leeds United.

The 39 year old, who spent a very successful three years as gaffer at Bloomfield Road, is believed to have signed a one year rolling contract at Elland Road.

The news comes as a bitter blow for the Seasiders, and couldn’t have come at a worse time with the club trying to bring in new players in January. That will clearly now all change, and hopefully an appointment will be made soon.

Although it is much too soon to make a firm list of possible candidates for the ‘Pool job, but names like Paul Simpson and Paul Groves have been mentioned.
