Blackpool could complete three more deals on transfer deadline day.

The Seasiders have landed the signature of Andy Reid from Sunderland and look set to sign James Beattie from Rangers.

And Ian Holloway in a press conference has stated that there are at least two players who are definitely travelling to Bloomfield Road.

Rumours are circulating in East Lancashire is that El-Hadji Diouf could be on his way from Blackburn Rovers. The former Liverpool man is available for £1m but wages could be a sticking point for Pool.

Another big name player has been linked in the last half an hour by James Ducker of the Times, who released on his twitter page that tentative enquiries have been made about Shay Given at Manchester City.

Whilst the manager is delighted at the capture of Reid, he admitted that he is unsure whether captain Charlie Adam will still be a Blackpool player by 11 o’clock tonight.

At the moment, Chairman Karl Oyston is focussing on getting players in and, according to Ollie, once those are finalised, will deal with bids from Liverpool.
