Ishmel Demontagnac has joined Chesterfield on loan for a month.
The midfielder has struggled for first team chances this campaign and hasn’t helped his cause with a sending off in a reverse fixture and trips around town – getting the wrong side of gaffer Ian Holloway.
Tearing his hamstring fairly early on in the season was a huge blow, especially after playing so well in the League Cup.
The League Two promotion-chasers will provide Ishmel with regular first team football – something he needs at the moment.
Whether he’ll get a new deal at the end of the season remains to be seen, but indictions are that he will be offered one.
In other news, it’s being rumoured that Seamus Coleman wrapped up a move to Bloomfield Road yesterday and could make his debut tomorrow.
