Lomana Lua Lua’s brief spell at Blackpool has ended after signing for Turkish club Karabükspor.

The 31-year-old penned a short-term deal at Bloomfield Road earlier in the season, featuring 32 times for the Seasiders.

Although his flamboyance was hailed by supporters, the attacker’s inconsistency meant it was unlikely he would earn the sort of contract he had hoped.

Pictures have surfaced of the player penning a two-year contract at the top flight side, who also have former Sheffield United striker Luton Shelton amongst their ranks.

Lua Lua scored just four league goals for Pool, failing to make the bench in last week’s Play-off final defeat against West Ham United. He is the highest profile departure this close season, with the likes of Roman Bednar and Elliot Grandin still unsure where their futures will lie.
