We’re just three games from the Premier League – mad eh? We aren’t just in the playoffs to make up the numbers though, oh no… we can win them. Indeed, as Ian Holloway says; ‘Why can’t it be Blackpool?’.

Speaking to the assembled media earlier this week, Ollie was quick to emphasise that he believes that the Seasiders can go up and has challenged his players to make it happen.

‘We’ve limped over the line in the end but you could see what it meant to everybody,’ said Ollie.

‘I’m just relieved that we’ve matched what Swansea did and I’m very, very proud.

‘I’ve just said that someone’s got to win it, why can’t it be Blackpool? There wouldn’t be a better story anywhere.

‘Whether we are good enough or not we’ll have to wait and see, but we’re in there.

‘If I was anyone else, I wouldn’t want to be playing us. That’s not to say that we’re better than everyone else but we’ve got nothing to lose.

‘I know that we can have a right good gamble at it.

‘And I guarantee one thing, we’ll be going there to try and win each game, not draw it.

‘No-one expected us to achieve what we have, so I want us to have a party in the play-offs and play some relaxed, attacking football.

‘We can play without fear. That was the problem on Sunday against Bristol City – we had fear of losing that sixth spot.

‘Let’s see if we can handle this and make the season last another three games. If we do that, the last game would be something pretty special.

‘Wouldn’t it be great to get (to Wembley). Our goal now is to get there.’

Can the Seasiders so it? We’ll let you have your say in a poll on the home page later tonight!
