Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has stated that his side are missing something going forward at the moment – Hameur Bouazza’s pace.

The Algerian is staring for his national team in the African Cup of Nations at the moment and is set to miss seven Blackpool game by next Wednesday.

And whilst Ollie is delighted to see him doing so well, he believes ‘Pool need the winger back sooner rather than later.

I’m delighted Hameur is at these big competitions and doing so well, because it’s great that Blackpool FC has an international player like him,’ said the boss.

‘But we are missing his pace as little bit at the moment I think and it will be good when he is back. It will give us more options.’

Bouazza himself is the reason Algeria are through to the semi-finals as he scored the extra time winner against Didier Drogba’s Ivory Coast the other night.
