According to Sky Sports, Blackpool, Burnley and Hull have expressed an interest in Barnsley striker Danny Haynes.
The 23 year old striker signed on a two and half year deal for the Tykes in January, scoring six in twenty league appearances.
Full of pace, Haynes has previously played for Ipswich, Millwall (loan) and Bristol City.
It is unclear whether the Seasiders are looking at Haynes as a possible replacement for DJ Campbell (who continues to be linked with a move away from Bloomfield Road) or simply to add to their squad.
And despite new Barnsley manager Keith Hill stating that he wants to keep the player in an interview with the Tykes’ official site, it is widely known that the budget at Oakwell for the forthcoming season is very tight and Hill could be forced to sell Haynes, especially if he really wants to sign Rotherham’s Adan Le Fondre, whom he has been heavily linked with.
In other striker news, Hungarian news sources are once again linking the Seasiders with a move for Hungarian international Gergely Rudolf.
The 26 year old (who has 20 caps for Hungary) is currently on loan at Bari from Napoli.
