Simon Grayson’s Blackpool side went down for the first time since March as they threw away a lead to lose 2-1 at Molineux against promotion hopefuls Wolves.

After an inventive through ball by David Fox, Gary Taylor-Fletcher scored his first goal for The Seasiders after 54 minutes.

Soon after, Fox nearly turned scorer as he missed when easier to score after good work by substitue Claus Jorgensen.

Big money man Freddy Eastwood carried on his rich vein of form against ‘Pool when he pounced on a Michael Jackson error to level the game.

It got worse for The Tangerines as Andy Keogh’s shot deflected to Eastwood who headed home to win it for Wolves.

Parker could have equalised late on, but his lob only found the keeper as ‘Pool pressed without reward.

Again, so close but yet so far. Signings are needed before next Friday’s deadline…
