Eardley Joins Birmingham

Following the end to his Blackpool career Neil Eardley has linked up with the clubs Championship rivals Birmingham.

The Welsh international says he is exited about the move and believes it to be “the next step” in his career and couldn’t have turned down such an offer to join “such a big club”.

24-year-old Eardley, who will be missed by Blackpool as he’s been a very good player for the club since his arrival from Oldham in August 2009, will officially join The Blues on a free transfer on July 1st, signing a three-year deal, when his existing deal expires.
