Blackpool Football Club today failed to attend the football league’s quarterly meeting in Sheffield, Will Watt of the Blackpool Gazette has revealed.
Blackpool were one of only five clubs not to attend the meeting which again puts into question the commitment of the Blackpool FC ownership.
The Oyston Family are currently busy dealing with a high court claim issued by part owner Valeri Belokon, who feels the Oyston’s have misused they money at Blackpool by taking large sums out and moving it into other Oyston owned businesses.
The club are yet to issue a statement regarding Belokon’s claim or their failure to attend the football league meeting.
